About Me

Name: Azamat Medetbekov

I love participating in Competitions—I even traveled all the way to different countries for some. I earned 3rd and 2nd places in the National Olympiad in Math of Kyrgyzstan two years in a row, x2 HM on APMO, qualified for the IZHO team, and many more. I also participate in Codeforces competitive programming contests in my chill time!

Since I'm a newbie in SWE-filed, I recently applied and was admitted to an SWE fellowship at HeadStarter AI. I will build 5 projects plus 1 final project, which will surely give me fundamental and crucial knowledge and have a compound effect on my career. I'm super excited!

I am also passionate about sharing my knowledge. My favorite event organized is a National Junior Science Olympiad (also Team Selection Test for IJSO in Kyrgyzstan) with participants from all country. Also, I have taught more than 15 students in Competitive Math & proposed problems for multiple Math competitions.

To explore my leadership and community-building skills even more, I am a head of math department at NJSO team, and intern at Tesseract tech. this year. I'm so excited to have a tech community, and explore all things tech :)
